(1) The designated officer shall impose a fine not exceeding one lakh rupees on the owner of a hotel or any shop in violation of section 3, 5 or 7 and, if necessary, such hotel or shop Can order closure.
(2) The designated officer may impose a fine of up to one lakh rupees on the hotel owner who violates section 4 and shall stop the entertainment or dancing and singing in the hotel in violation of the said section.
(3) The owner of a hotel or shop or any other person who violates section 8 or 9 shall be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or with a fine not exceeding twenty five thousand rupees or with both by the order of the designated authority.
